Ready, Shoot, Aim

On the Monday following vice president Cheney's hunting accident, when most newspapers began telling the story, the Palo Alto Daily News printed nothing about it. On Wednesday the paper editorialized that Cheney should not have delayed going to the press with the story. Rather than apologize to readers about not thinking the story deserved the immediate coverage they crave, the editors camoflage their own incompetence.

Love your perspective Squirrel. I believe that the Palo Alto Daily News was waiting for orders from the NY Times....
